Difference is made by Lovestjärna Consulting AB. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

We do not collect your data. Difference has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not receive, see or store your photos or any other personal information.

Your photos. Photos you add are copied into the app so they can be aligned and compared. They are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud storage in the app's Settings, your projects are stored in your own private iCloud account, which only you can access; Apple's iCloud terms apply. Your original photos in the Photos app are never changed.

Permissions. The app asks for access to your photo library (to add photos and to save the images and videos you export), your camera (to take new photos) and Face ID (to open projects you have locked). Each is used only for that purpose, only on your device, and can be turned off at any time in the Settings app.

Purchases. The full version is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was made, not your payment details.

Sharing. Images and videos leave the app only when you choose to share or export them, and only to the destination you pick.

Backups and project files. Backup and project files you export contain your photos and are not encrypted. Store and share them with care.

Children. The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
